     Using "dash" lines to indicate that a component is "loaded" from the 
     opposite side of the silk-screen is acceptable within most manufacturing 
     design guidelines, when only one side of the pwb is screened. 
     
     If both sides are screened, a question of why a "dashed" line on the 
     "other side" of the load comes to mind.

     Has anyone heard of using a dashing connector silkscreen outline to 
     designate that a connector be placed on the solder side of the board 
     vs. the component side?  I realize that dashed lines on drawing 
     designate this, but I have never seen it on the actual PCB.
