Hello
I am seeing a problem in the mounting of small smt coils with plactic molded
tops.
It seems that the coils have developed a charge. When the part is presented
to the machine, it jumps out of the pocket to attach itself to the side of
the feeder.
The static is being disipated when the cover tape is removed, yet the part
maintains
a charge. The reel was wiped with a small amount of soapy watter the
re-inserted,
most problems vanished. Possibly an de-inonizer gun on the feeder would help?
has anyone seen this or have any possible soultions to this energizing
problem?

Thanks in advance.
