We have some pwb's that when tested at 500 and 1000 volts show leakage
currents in the 1 to 3 tetra range. Has anyone substantiated that this
occurs due to the presence of ionic contamination. Are there any good
references/technical articles on detection of ionic contamination and
electrical test screening of the bare board. The part has 10 mil min
internal spacing, 4 mil minimum external spacing, and is fabricated from a
high tg FR4 material.
