Kelly,
During our investigation into electroless nickel/immersion gold for military
PWB's, I did not find any military specifications for immersion gold. I could
only find IPC specs for immersion gold.
We settled on three tests to verify the proper gold plating. They were
thickness using x-ray flourescence, adhesion of the gold per MIL-P-55110D,
(Amendment 1) and solderability per MIL-P-55110D (Amendment 1).
Good Luck!
Tom

Hi!

Does anyone know of any Military of non Military specs for immersion
gold? We know of the IPC-6012. Any information would be appreciated.

Thanks,

Kelly
