For your first question you can refer to the IPC-TM-650. I'm not going to
repeat it here.
2nd question: If you have a thick laminate/board, use a razer blade or
exaco knife to pick up the edge and pull. If you have a thin laminate or
flex material, put one edge under flame, it will delaminate.

How does one test for the copper peel strength on standard PWB?
How does one start the peel of the copper so that it can be pulled
with an Instron, etc.?
