First, comparative tracking index has nothing to do with X-ray but is related
to the relative resistance of solid electical insulating materials to
tracking under moist conditions at voltages up to 600 volts. It is very
seldome used in the US, but is a common for European requirement. Refer to
International Electrochemical Commission (IEC Standard) Publication number
112. Document may be procured through ANSI in the United States> I do not
have the numbers for many of the printed board materials, but the laminate
suppliers, especially those who deal in Europe, can give you the tracking
information on their materials.
