Hello,
We are in the process of manufacturing a very simple board assembly. The
material requirements for the board material are described in the customer
drawing as G-10. The material supplier originally certified the material as
FR4, when questioned as to the equivalency of these materials our supplier
simply "doctored" the certification by adding G-10 in parentheses after the
FR4. Without a full blown investigation of the supporting specifications,
which I don't have readily available, could someone simply answer, are these
two different designators for the same material?
Thank You
