Hi Technetters,

I have observed long term reliability problems with this exact issue
when I worked for the Burroughs Corp (now part of Unisys) many moons
ago.

The issue is "crrepage" of the tin/lead through the gold srface over a
long period of time, resultiong in a tin/lead/gold alloy subject to
fretting corrosion.

Any help I can offer, please contact me directly.

Regards,
