I agree with Dougal Stewart of Exacta!

Occasionally, many people answer to questions like "Argentum" and "Plumbum";
however, this seems fairly rare. If most Technetters are like me, they access
the e-mail once or twice a week and, when they see a question where they know
the answer, they immediately reply and answer. As they go further through the
e-mail list, they see that many other people have answered the same question;
however, by that time it is too late because their answer has already been
sent. So what? Occasionally, there are even some interesting twists, such as
lead cups for peons and silver cups for aristocrats!

Most often, questions are asked and only a relatively few "experts" answer
them. To me, this is very interesting and a learning experience to see
different explanations and approaches to the same problem.

If the Technet is becoming overloaded, it is the IPC's responsibility to
increase their capacity! In fact, this is a crystal clear confirmation of the
success of Technet and it is destined to grow even larger!

Regards,

Larry Fisher
