Technetters,

I have a gold-plated Kovar component which gets mounted (mechanically
attached) to an aluminum substrate.  Any suggestions on how to treat either
or both surfaces to minimize dissimilar metal problems?  Gold plate the
aluminum??  Or (does anyone know) can I cadmium plate Kovar?   Any ideas
would be appreciated.
