PCB and PWB both refer to bare boards, different groups seem to prefer one 
over the other. I suspect PWB came from the wire wrap backplane.
To show assemblies PCBA, PCA, and PWBA are all common.

PWB stands for printed wiring board - bare board.  PCB is
a printed circuit board - having components.
