Regarding your request for an easiest way to convert military 
contracts from MIL-STD-2000A to J-STD-001, this would fall under the 
Single Process Initiative program undertaken by the DoD.  Weat EFW 
Inc. are currently processing a block change request to all our US 
Government contracts and all our subcontracts with primes on US Gov. 
contracts.  We have been working this change for approximately six 
weeks and expect it to complete in another three months.  

The Defense Logistics Agency is willing and in-fact has a charter 
from their headquarters to work with contractors to make these 
changes.  Check with your ACO and read all you can from the 
Internet.  Check "www.acq.osd.mil".
