This will work well provided you clean your boards regularly with Joy
dishwasher solution and rinse with alcohol and then dry thoroughly.
Not likely.  Your incompatibility is not as much an issue of cleanliness as
it is the chemical balance at the interface.  Your cleaning procedure may be
at fault, but you have not been able to pinpoint any problem to date.  
Try scrubbing the surface of the board to roughen it slightly and repeat
coating.  See if that provides your answer.
