We have some older prints for four layer boards .062 with 2 oz. copper
on the internal power and ground. The prints also specify a dielectric
thickness between the power and ground layers at .010 +/- .005.
What is the industry 'standard' for the core thickness on a four layer
.062 board? What is the most economical build (especially want to
hear from mass lam. fab shops)?
Comments on how price would be affected? Also board fab shops, would
you price this board as a standard 4 layer or would you charge extra (in
addition to material costs) because of the dielectric requirement?
Thank you
