Pinholes - 610B vs. J-STD-001B

I could use some opinions. Both IPC-A-610B & J-STD-001B clearly define 
minimum amounts of solder in a PTH. What about pinholes ? 610 addresses 
them, but not clearly, and I can't find reference to them in J-STD.
