Particles of this sort can possibly cause rough plating in the form of
nodules at any part of the plated board. I would certainly want to get them
out of my system. As they are organic in nature they may also be attacked by
the high acid levels in the bath and cause organic contamination. Simple
filtration should remove them but make sure your filters are of a micron size
small enough to capture them. Change your filters often and by all means make
sure you eliminate the source of contamination.
