Ravi can U pass on this info reg static charges in the shopfloor due to
Chairs and operators. I had tried out a different scheme to overcome such
problems which might possibly work!
* Use chairs only with cushions covered 100 percent cooton fabric covering.
* Avoid plastic/foam for places like the armrest. Use wood.
* Persons/Operators wear an antistatic apron.
* Persons active in the area also wear cotton socks only.or work bare foot
or use shoe bands for grounding.
* Use flaps for the seat and backrest of the chair made out of antistatic
fabric.(stitching to b done using cotton thread only).Take care not to use
Velcro pullouts for the flaps ! Use metallic buttons.
I hope some of these would answer the questions.
