Dear fellow designers,
we are in process of revising our corporate specs,
so we can achieve bigger board density.
Our present requirements are (external and internal) 0.002 inch annular
ring, except in the area adjoining the conductive trace where there
shall be 0.005 minimum annular ring.

Are there some data documenting defects or failure on boards using
anular ring 0.002 versus 0.001 or tangency?

What is yours practical experience or specs?

All help is greatly appreciated.

Mirka
