Oh, my dear Friend,

Plumbum is Lead in Latin (Pb)
Argentum is Silver in Latin (Ag)

Normally, all the inorganic components and formulations in chemistri, are
empirically named in their Latin terminology as:

Au = Gold (Aurum)
Sn = Tin (Stanus)

Here you have an example:

The euthectical alloys of Tin - Lead with Silver, are called Sn/Pb/Ag

My best regards.
