There are chairs available that have conductive fabric that can bleed off
charges in a variety of ways. 3M is a good place to start shopping around.
Also topical antistats can prove effective in reducing the charge buildups.
This approach should be tested for effectiveness. Ionizers can be another
effective way to reduce charges from building up. Just a few Thoughts.

     Hi TechNet -

The quality folks asked me to post a question that they are trying to
     understand. The question is:

"How have other electronics manufacturers solved the issue of having
the fabric on the operator's chairs not generate a static charge? We
are finding that a small charge is building up on the chair seats."

Thanks for the help in advance.
