Jennifer Gray ([log in to unmask]) announces the Chat session with topic
"Fabrication - defective PWBs (x-outs) on panelized boards".
The Chat session will be held on 01/28/97, at 02:14 P.M. est

Jennifer Gray's comments:
Is there an industry standard for allowable defects, or x-outs, for panelized PWBs? For instance, if a panel is 8-up, and there are 625 panels in the lot (5000 pcs. total in the lot), how is the allowable defect rate determined? A PWB manufacturer has suggested 1 PWB per panel, and a max. of 10% of the lot. This means that up to 500 panels could be affected, which seems excessive.
