I would contact the flux manufacturer to find out what alternative
solvents they suggest.
I have had good results with Axarel 2200. It is manufactured by
Petrofirm. You can purchase this product through one of their
distributors. Their number is (904)261-8286. They can also give you
a list of suggested equipment and the manufacturer that is compatible
with Axarel.

Subject: removing RMA flux

We desire to continue using RMA flux in our wave and hand soldering operations.
What reliable cleaning method has replaced Genesolve used in a vapor degreaser?
Have tried semi-aqueous but not very happy. Does anyone have experience with
either SMT, Prozane or other so called drop in HCFC replacements?
