A good contact to save regarding microscopy is WALTER McCRONE of the
McCrone Research Institute, 2820 South Michigan Avenue, Chicago IL
60616.  Phone (312) 842-7105.  This fellow was actually one of a few
scientists to study the Shroud of Turin in the late 80s.
