Gents, Can someone help me define the basis for "low profile device" and
"high profile device" as used in J/STD-001B and A-610B. I believe that the
terminology is based on an old JEDED definition. Seems to me that "high
profile" was anything that is more than 0.15mm above the pwb surface. The
phone number I have for JEDEC is no good, can't find them on the Net, and
would like to talk to them about the definition. Thanks in advance for any
