Harris Semiconductor published a paper on the web about reliability
considerations for using PEMs in military applications. It had some
reliability test results for components. You can access this report
as well as others at http://rel.semi.harris.com/

I am trying to determine the best way to package VME boards populated
with PEM components for long term storage (>15 years). Any ideas
     would be appreciated.

     Thanks,

We are looking for literature on reliability issues and failure modes
of plastic packages (non-hermetic). Can you steer us toward any IPC
     literature on that issue?

     Thanks.
