The other  reply is misleading, as the original request asked about the
chemistry of Alpha Prep which is not chlorite/caustic based.
It is in fact peroxide & sulfuric acid based, is recommended for horizontal
use, and out-performs conventional oxide in many ways. For further details
on cost versus oxide give me a call on (1)-714-757-0111, as this is outside
the scope of a Technet discussion.
