By my faulty recollection, there is probably a suitable GE or Dow-Corning
product for the application you describe.

BUT...make sure you get one intended for electronics applications. Most of
the general purpose RTV silicones will release acetic acid as they "cure".
The acid is what inhibits hardening until it's applied in open air.

This localized release of acid can be very corrosive to metal or foil
surfaces on a PWB. So do not get the most handy hardware store RTV, it may
create a problem.
