This is just a friendly reminder regarding the scope of DesignerCouncil 
and TechNet, two of our most active forums.

DesignerCouncil is meant to provide information on upcoming IPC Designers 
Council activities, certification exams and the Design Technology 
Symposium. News on chapter meetings, new chapters forming or anything else 
pertaining to the councils is encouraged.

However, technical discussions on design issues are more suitable for the 
TechNet forum. Just begin the Subject: line with 'DES:' for 
design-related issue and ask (or answer) technical questions on design.

Please do not submit technical questions on design to both forums, as 
this creates unnecessary traffic for all of us to handle.

To subscribe to TechNet, send an e-mail to

with the word 'subscribe' in the Subject: field (less the quotes, of course).

To subscribe to DesignerCouncil, send an e-mail to

  [log in to unmask]

with the word 'subscribe' in the Subject: field.
