Rick, we had problems with an Omegameter 600R a few months ago and
likewise had difficulty getting help from Alpha. The folks in Georgia
with whom I spoke were at least sympathetic, and offered some advice, but
I figured out that we were largely on our own when it came to fixing the
problem. I'll tell you what our problems were; maybe that will help some.

There were two. We had a crack in the bottom of the plexiglass or lucite
test cell that allowed the fluid to leak out slowly. A bigger problem
was paper that had gotten stuck in the circulating pump. It inhibited
flow and led to weird results. Along the way, we replaced the sensor
and, some time after the replacement, had to clean it, too, of paper debris.
