There are sockets available from several manufacture's made from a high
temperature thermoplastic. These are rated to 500F. That is typically the
wave solder temperature. I have never tried running one through the wave.
Don't forget you must protect the sockets from filling with solder. Again,
there are sockets available with either an RTV or polyimide film over the
socket holes. I'm not sure if you would get good solder joints passing it
through the wave.
