Amp Inc. has a full line of SMT qualified sockets. Request catalog
65230 which includes both through-hole and surface mounts parts
designed for SMT assembly temperatures. We haven't had any problem
with them on our boards which are double sided mixed tech.

In a wave soldering process a plastic socket on the underneath has to be
soldered on afterwards following the process.
Are there any high temperature plastic sockets available which
can go through the Wave Soldering process.
Appreciate any comments, information, suggestions.
Thanks in advance.
