     Nora,
I have some information on the 2-D Bar Code Technology. International
Data Matrix, Inc. has put together a good information packet on the
technology. Their address is: 9 Townsend West, Nashua, New Hampshire
     03063. Telephone (603) 577-8300, Fax (603) 577-8301.

There are a few different types currently. Several companies are
evaluating what type of matrix will work for them. Some of the codes
include error correction. All of the types offer a significant
amount of information in a greatly reduced area compared to single
     line bar codes.

Hello,

Is anyone on this forum is currently using or knows anything about 3-D bar
code technology? I am looking for its cost and performance information,
advantages and disadvantages, as well as label and equipment manufactures.

Regards,
