Holly,

Petroferm has several substitutes that are suitable as replacements for HCFC
141b in cleaning circuit boards.

If the IPC member wants to replace 141b in a vapor degreasing application I
would recommend our cosolvent process which uses an organic solvent in
conjunction with an HFE rinse. We gave a paper on this application last year
at NEPCON.

This year we are introducing an azetrope for the same application at NEPCON
this year. Beth Bivins our Technical Services Manager will be presenting the
paper. We will have both of these processes operating in our booth (#1037)
at NEPCON this year.

If the another cleaning method is of interest I am sure that we can find a
suitable product in our BIOACT or AXAREL product line. A number of these
products are Phase 2 approved as well.

Your contact can reach me ([log in to unmask]) or Beth Bivins (eabivins) by
e-mail or by calling Petroferm at 904-261-8286. Both of us will be at NEPCON
next week.

I apologize for being somewhat commercial in this response.

Sincerely,
Kevin Hrebenar
Technical Director
Petroferm Inc.
