OSHA has proposed to revise the recordkeeping forms and attendant
requirements for occupational injury and illness recording and
reporting (29 CFR 1904 & 1952)
This proposal was published on 2 February 1996 in the Federal Register
(V.61 No. 23, p. 4030-4067). OSHA's intent in this proposal is to
simplify recordkeeping, improve information concerning occupational
illnesses and injuries, increase utilization of records on-site, increase
use of computers, and improve employee awareness.
IPC's Safety & Health Subcommittee is reviewing the proposal and will
