Subject: Regions 2 and 8 Compliance Assistance Workshops
In anticipation of the July 1, 1997, reporting deadline for Form R and Form A
(also known as the annual certification statement) under EPCRA Section 313,
U.S. EPA Regions 2 and 8 are sponsoring a series of compliance assistance
workshops. The workshops are open to industry, federal facilities, and other
interested parties. Each session will provide a thorough discussion of the
requirements of EPCRA and in Region 2 will also include presentations on oil
pollution prevention regulations, CAA Section 112(r) regulations, and NYSDEC
P2 and M2P2 updates. Below is a list of scheduled workshops and registration
information. Registration is required for all workshops. The Region 2
workshops are all scheduled from 9:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. The Region 8 full
day workshops, designed for first time EPCRA Section 313 reporters are from
8:30 A.M. to 4:30 P.M. The half day workshops, for those who have previously
reported, are from 8:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. All sessions are free of charge.

* May 29 - Salt Lake City (half day workshop)

To date, Regions 2, 5, 7, 8 and 9, as well as EPA Headquarters, have scheduled
EPCRA Section 313 compliance assistance workshops. Look for messages on the
Listserver for other Regionally-sponsored sessions as information becomes
