The next meeting of the EPA Common Sense Initiative (CSI) Electronics
Sector will be held as follows:

Tuesday, March 12 8:30 am - 5:00 pm
Wednesday, March 13 8:30 am - 3:00 pm
Radisson Plaza Hotel at Mark Center
5000 Seminary Road, Alexandria, VA 22311
phone 703/845-1010

CSI is a regulatory reform program initiated to develop "cleaner,
cheaper, smarter" environmental protection approaches. In the
electronics sector, three workgroups have been formed to focus on the
following issues:

1--Removing barriers to pollution prevention and product stewardship

2--Streamlining reporting requirements and improving data access

3--Designing a new "track 2" regulatory system to replace the current
"track 1" command and control system

The upcoming CSI meeting is a public meeting, so anyone is welcome. For
more information, please contact Christopher Rhodes ([log in to unmask], or
phone 847-509-9700 x306).
