Hi TechNet -
The Omegameter is/was not designed as an analytical instrument thus it
doesn't catch every contaminate that could cause problems depending on
the fabrication/processing history of a pwa. Give Doug Pauls (CSL
317-457-8095), Susan Mansilla (Robisan Labs 317-353-6249) or Bob Neves
(Microtek Labs 714-693-1000) a call and they should be able to give
you a good explanation of the whats & whys.

Subject: FAB: Board Analysis - One More Time

Thanks everyone for the input about available labs for
residue analysis.
One more question -
Our customer is checking the boards themselves by the
following procedure:
1. Equipment - Omega P/N 600-S-SMD
2. 74% Alcohol wash.
3. Board is dried. Then surface resistivity measured.
(could someone supply speicifics?)
4. Qty of Na in Alcohol < 14micrograms.
I guess I need an education on this.
Any help would be appreciated.
