I am involved with an improved outerlayer registration method and am trying
to:
a) Correlate improved performance data that I have collected with the
theoretical accuracy limits.
b) Understand and quantify the tangible customer benefits of improved annular
ring tolerance.
I would appreciate any assistance to obtain the following information:
1) The typical distribution of drilling error.
2) Drill positional error (wander) as a function of the drill diameter.
3) Drill positional error (wander) as a function of stack height.
4) Drill life as a function of drill diameter.
5) Drilling tolerances that you experience.
6) Answers to any questions that an imaging person didn't think to ask about
drilling.
Of additional interest would be a function or spreadsheet that would model
drilling performance.
