We have a few of these machines. Due to the high speed requirements, the
Gemini uses a compliant placement head along with a dispense nozzle that
has a standoff bar that contacts the PCB.
We found the positive placement pumps to be very repeatable on adhesive volumes.
Your problem might be related to the adhesive volume used relative to the
nozzle diameter size, and standoff post height.
The post height is etched on the keyed portion of the nozzle base.
These nozzles can be ordered in a variety of configurations. Custom nozzles
can be ordered at a reasonable cost for special standoff height needs.
