Mr Hui,
Off the top of my head, I can think you should check the following things:
- Verify your thermal profile
- Check solderability of the leads ( wetting force)
- Do you any component with large thermal mass nearby?
- Have you experienced severe board warp on the assembly?
- Check the footprint of the component.
- Is there any via beneath the component
- Check solderability of the pads.
Please let me know the outcome of your investigation !!
Hope this helps
Thanks

Hi Technet,
Has anybody ever encountered tombstoning on the SOT-23 component. I
understand it is normal to see chip component tombstoning, but not SOT-23.
I hope somebody could enlighten me what is/are the causes.
Thanks in Advance..
