We recommend that Acrylic (AR) be used to repair Paraxylylene (Parallyene),
This was based on a study by NWC China Lake some years ago. We have not
had any complaints based on this from the fleet activities that use the
process.

>>Subject: Touch up Paralyene after rework
>>Date: Wednesday, 06 March, 1996 07:16
>>
>>We use Paralyene C to conformal coat our CCA's. On occasion we need to
>>perform rework which needs to be touched up. We use a one part type UR
>>(Polyurethane) for this touch up. The bad news is that it does not stick
>to
>>the Paralyene and can be easily picked off. Any comments from people with
>>experience in this area would be appreciated.
