I was wondering when you'd come "on-line" wtih tech-net today, it's
been missing your keen humor] ;-)

I've certainly seen a few people add old paste to their solder pots,
but I can't say whether it contaminated them or not.  Certainly did
smoke an awful lot, tho'.  I guess the question I have is if you're
any better off by scraping the junk into the solder pot or into the
dross bucket.  Guess I'd rather tick off the guy who buys my dross
than my boss]
