1. Has anyone been successful finding a way to recycle entry materials
that are not pure aluminum? My perception is that the suppliers of
these materials have not generated a recycling source and show little
movement in that direction. Considering the amount of material
involved, it seems like a worthwhile endeavor.
2. Can anyone recommend the best entry material? Which material
provides the most robust drilling process?
3. It appears that the difference between net cost of pure aluminum
(price - recycle value) and the cost of purchasing composite materials
is too large to justify switching from pure aluminum. Has anyone found
a way to justify to management that microdrilling requires something
better than pure aluminum?
