I am a recent inductee into our routing department, and
have been given the duty of
evaluating router bits, based on style and supplier. Can anybody suggest a
best method of
determining tool life cost, wear, etc.. based on experience or knowledge.

We currently do all routing on FR4 material tyically on a
1/4" high stack of panels
(4 X 0.062") with a soft tooling plate backing.

Please forward all messages to the attention of A. McKean.

Regards
Andy McKean
