I would like to address this question to the Double EEs out
there in the TechNet World, and others with experience with
no-clean fluxes and their affect on high speed switching,
rise and fall times, parasitic capacitance, leakage, affect
on resistance.
-What experiences can you relate?
-What problems have you ran into?
-Has No-clean been around long enough to measure its affect
in these areas?
Our design folks have been given a copy of the "92" and
""95" CRADA reports. I noticed in the CRADA report sections
on possible problems in the above areas.
-Has anyone out there actually seen problems in these areas
or others?
-Has the affect, if any, limited the flixibility of design
for top and bottom side CCAs?
-How long can a trace run and at what spacing before
transmission begins to decay because of contamination from
No-clean flux?
I cleaned up my hard drive memory because I figured you all
would send a multitude of info. Thanks in advance. I could
really use some help on this one.
