Krylon is a supplier of coating materials like acrylic , it comes in a nice
easy to use spray can. Hate to say it but our factory too uses Krylon when
they mean acrylic. It is just the brand that has been in use for a long,
long time here.

     I have become confused!

Recently, while reviewing a startup's design business, the prospect
used "conformal coat" and "Krylon" in the same sentence. I was, um,
somewhat surprised. I took the comment to be an oversimplification
     from a EE's perspective.

     Is the joke on me?

     Thanks,
