IPC is the process of publishing IPC-1720 which is the Assembly
Qualification Profile. This document gives a series of templates with
which the contract assembly house can detail their capabilities. I think
this would be a good starting point for you. We are also including an
electronic version of the templates along with the 1720. We are doing a
final scrub of the electronic version this week and hope to have the hard
copy go to press next week. Copies will be available from IPC for $70 for
IPC member companies and $140 for non members.
If you are interested in this, please contact our order department x318
or [log in to unmask], in about 30 days.
Regards
Dave
