Morton Electronic Materials is a major supplier of manual
and automatic dry film laminators to the PCB industry. We
do not recommend the use of MEK for cleaning laminating
rolls.

We do recommend using Isopropyl Alcohol diluted 50% with
DI water ONLY when the rolls are cold.

Address,

A majority of PCB shops out there use MEK (Methyl Ethyl
Kentone) in-house. To what extent are most of you using it?
Are any of you using MEK to clean rollers on the Resist
Laminator or similar?

Other than being a health hazard and I'm aware the MEK
attacks the rollers. What else?

Please advise.
