Subject: Which DNC system for a small shop?

We are currently using the Centrum Research tape reader emulator to
transfer NC data from our PC network to our drills (2) and router.
Are there any affordable systems that would allow us to bypass the
reader and directly connect the machines? Our present system has
generated a couple of drill errors lately, so we are looking for
a more reliable way to transfer the drill data. We have 2 Excellon
CNC4 controllers and a CNC6. Thanks for any help you can provide!
