Good Morning Technetters -
IPC-RB-276 Paragraph 3.9.2.7 states that vias shall have 60% resin
fill.
I understand the European community uses a higher number near 100%
fill. My engineering group has asked me the below questions and I have
no words of wisdom. So I forward the questions to you folks.
Where did the 60% value originate from?
What reliability studies confirm the 60% value is valid?
Thanks for your help,
Randy Reed
